Paralysed
Everyone has their advice
And their interpretation
Doctors, therapists, acquaintances
Each voicing their opinion
At times I’m like a pinball
Jerked about in violent motions
At other times I’m paralysed
Pulled at once in all directions
I’m not belonging to myself
Numbed empty of sensation
I’m pulverised into a mist
My essence to oblivion
